If you push in on the firing pin with the block slightly rotated, or removed you should be able to see how far it protrudes from the front of the block. If it doesn't I would be calling Dixie right away and get a new pin. If a new pin doesn't solve the problem it has other issues and may need to be returned for a repair/replacement.

I believe Lee Shaver does factory repair work on pedersolis

Lee Shaver is the factory authorized service repair gunsmith for Pedersoli firearms.

Call Lee at (417) 682-3330 and talk to him.  Calling Dixie will not get the firearm repaired or a new part
