moodyholler to Webb
Mar 7th, 2016 at 1:22pm

Webb since you trashed my Maynard for sale ad  and for sure cost me a sale I have two proposals for you.
. Concerning your asking for a retraction of my thanks for hijacking my thread, send me a USPS MO for 2000.00 and I will ship you the two MAYNARDS. But you still hijacked my thread. Any honorable man would make it right by buying my rifles. How much honor do you have?
2. I will meet you at Maryland Collectors show and flip you for each Maynard, double or nothing, one flips, and one calls, well, do you feel lucky?

Sad to see a few words by someone who thinks he is better than thou create such a substantial monetary loss.
I feel for you and your loss Moodyholler.

CW the Honorable Mr Maynard / Doc died several years ago as we all know and I am not sure about the new fellow currently taking his place doing him any Justice. Me I would much rather be a has been than a wanna be so what does Webb really have in common with Mr Maynard's life accomplishments? I did a search for a Webb rifle but nothing seems to come up so am I missing something?

Actually, I was kind of interested in the '73 and another guy seemed to be interested in the '65. But we weren't really in the running, were we? Guess we don't know the secret handshake. That's OK. Don't think I want to.

Moodyholler
I read your ad and it was perfectly clear to me that you had two rifles for sale and the price included shipping. Why Dr. Maynard is being so purposely obtuse is a little confusing to me. Maybe he just read it wrong and is too proud to admit his mistake. Whatever the reason to monkey with another man’s ad is a serious breech of good manners. You are at least owed an apology but don’t hold your breath.

Probably enough has been said by all sides by now.  Good idea to just let this thread end without it degenerating into uncivil discourse...just say'n...

Moodyholler,
I never had a doubt what your verbiage in the Maynard sale ad meant. I've seen the exact same terminology used in numerous ads here, and pretty sure I've used it myself in past ads.
Considering our past dealings, I know whoever buys from you will be extremely happy with whatever deal you make with them!

I also have nothing but praise for the deal that I made with Moodyholler several years ago.  Tom
