You can't mistake mine for a #1. It's a #4.

I have also heard of replacing the stock coil hammer spring with a HiWall flat hammer spring to eliminate the problem.

Rugers can be very accurate. Gary Miller and one of his 250s at Spokane.

CBA shoots in a very tight relay time frame. I don't think our evolved American Schuetzen style would work in that segment of the sport.  They do or did shoot some plain based matches. but with the short relays "fixed ammo" (and gas checks) is probably the most common.

hard alloy, higher velocity, gas-checked fixed ammo would be almost a different game than that played on the ASSRA fields.

I shot a CBA match with my Hoch. Had plenty of time.

CBA matches are 5 rounds, 10 minute relays on each of four targets at 100 and four at 200 yards.  But they are for score not group.

Joe,
Here a pic of my Frankenruger.
Atypical forearm, no safety
I'm thinking about selling it, but oh that wood!

What caliber? To nice to be a FrankenRuger.

What did you use it for?  BR I assume. Pretty wood. Who's barrel?

Details man, details!

Hi Joe,
So far, I haven't used it for anything.
It took me a while to get the forearm off, no clue as to who made it, or the caliber for that matter.
One of these days I'll get around to a chamber cast.
It's 35 caliber, and a 38-55 round almost chambers, might be 35 Whelan.
25" st 1.150" rust blue barrel with counterbored muzzle
Here's a pic of the forearm screw. Very fine slot.
When you remove it, you can diagonally access the standard forearm attachment.

I have plenty of time loading a single case and BSing in CBA.
