Another stop ring bullet, but weird

I found a box of 100 205 grain cast bullets I had picked up somewhere, sometime. The odd thing is the size. The heel measures .3105. The stop ring measures .323. The nose ahead of the stop ring up to the front groove measures .3115 and the bore riding part of the nose measures .3025. Any ideas for what cartridge these might have been intended?

It looks like a 311277 Ideal bullet.

There you go.May have to try them in the 30-40. Of course, they will be fantastic and I'll spend the next 10 years looking for a mould....

I have a 311281- 230 grain Ideal mold- a stop ring. Frankeore has put it on the bullet drawings list. I do plan on trying them in my Obermeyer SS 8.5 twist barreled 30 USA rifle

oneatatime - your options are to contact NEI Molds
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
or NOE Molds ... (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
Send them the bullet and they will clone it for you.  Be sure to tell them it is the Ideal 311277 bullet
