My 32-20 has a similar bevel.  CPA provides a plugged case seater for a 5-spot but it is only adequate.   Get the webber.

I have two plugged cases for my CPA, one a 25/20 and the other for my 32/20CPA.  They are not adjustable but what does the Russ Webber seater do, for many times the price, then the plug cases do?

Is Russ Weber the only guy that makes breach seaters currently?

The Russ Weber type seater will start the bullet in line with the bore line Much more consistently.

You can adjust the Weber BS to move bullet in or out to find the sweet spot.  THEE way to go. All I've seen on the line for CPA's was the push seater.

I used a push seater for my CPA before getting a Weber seater, scores improved right away, less work to seat bullet on arthritic hands.
It seats the bullet dead nuts straight, where a push seater can put it in who knows what position.

Worth the bucks, for real.  Couldn't make one for the cost.

I use a Neal Rice seater on my Stevens 44 1/2.  Mr. Rice has passed. He made a niffy seater.

I've experimented with plugged case seaters and mechanical seaters with cases attached. No difference in accuracy. Inspection after knocking the bullets out showed no difference in markings on bullets. I assume the throat and rifling align the bullet as it's pushed in with a plugged case.

Maybe Chuck should have used a mechanical seater. Wait, he did for a while, then went back to a plugged case seater and shot better targets.

Another thing to consider is the size of your chamber. Your chamber must be big enough to accept un-sized fixed ammo to work with a Russ Weber seater.

Thanks for the picture of Chuck Bordman. Just received some 25-20 brass from his estate. His targets demonstrate his skills as a shooter.

Wish I could have known him.

Respectfully,

I have used both fixed plug seaters, adjustable plug seaters and what I call 'Sliders' in my breech seated rifles.  I have switch most to the slider type to get the bullet stated squarely.  Here is a diagram of how I make them.  Fairly simple.  The double nuts adjust the depth.
