Mystery Action

Not a single shot but there is a great knowledge base here to pull from. This rifle was built by a friends grandfather in Denver CO for an 8 year old grandson. The caliber is 30/06 Springfield! Never seen this action before and neither has anyone I have showed it to. It has matching S/N,s on major parts so I do not think it is a one off. The trigger is modified for reduced LOP. Picture with a Model 70 FW, the action and one of the bolt removed. Any Ideas?

Joe you always help. I emailed you another unknown (by me) rifle picture right before you were leaving on a road trip. Emails are easy to back up and get pushed aside. Remember this one?

Pretty vague. It's a German rifle?  Reworked?

Looks like a Wilbur Hauck rifle.

I'd never seen a Newton rifle without set triggers before.  Looks like the gunsmith changed those out and also removed the bolt shroud peep sight eyepiece.
