I have been told over the last few years that The Denver Gun Show is "the show" for single-shot rifle collectors.   
  1) is this still true?
  2) what are the date for this year's show?

Haven't been there in recent years, but in the past it has always been one of the best shows in the country. It's a very well regulated show, and members keep a close eye on what vendors put out on their table, to ensure nothing outside their guidelines is put on a table to sell.
The asking price can be a bit high, but most are negotiable, especially if it's still there on Sunday. I hope I can make it this year, but depends on whether there's another seat available with the group that's headed down there.
