Want to get a toggle breech seater for my CPA. Contacted Steve Durren,he does not make them for the CPA, and Ken Meyer, he advised he is not making them anymore. Can you give me info on who makes such a seater and how to get in contact. Thanks for your help and have a  great day.

Call Russ Webber (talk loud because he is hard of hearing) - tell him you want a seater for your CPA and caliber.  He'll tell you what he needs from you with a $200 check:
RUSS WEBBER
1805 HWY 141
WHITEWATER, CO 81527

This is what they look like for CPA 32-40 - just the seater , the box is my doings

This is a recent reply from Russ Weber  12-27-2015

Include a letter with all the details.  Your price will be $225.00 and your personal check is acceptable.
I need three cases fully fire formed at the mouth and preferably a free fit on the rest of the case.  Send bullets placed backwards into the cases and taped at the mouth.  This prevents them being deformed during shipping.

One reply lists Russ' address as 1805 Hwy 141.  One says 18205 Hwy 141.

Can one of you tell me which is the correct address?

Thank you,

"Toggle breech seater"

I don't know what it is. Never heard of it. Picture?

Toggle, searched it. Are you looking for breech seater that hooks on a stud mounted on the side of the action?

Bob you can easily make your own I made this one mostly with a file and a Hacksaw with the exception of the Lug on the action, I drilled and tapped it on the Lathe with the help of a milling attachment. It is a copy of Barry Darrs and similar to a Schoyen. It has allot of mechanical advantage and works extremely well. You can also pick up I believe an 1861 Colt Pistol loading lever from Dixie Gun Works and most of the work is already done for under $30.00. I turned the case on mine as I wanted it to be cylindrical on the interior as I prefer cylindrical bullets and it helps to keep them central to the bore when breech seating.

CW it folds up nicely as well for storage. It is particaly open here but you will get a good idea of what it would look like closed all the way. What is nice about the whole concept is you only have to remove / unscrew the adjustable plugged case assembly and screw another one for a different cartridge and you are good to go. One seater for all occasions!

Simple.  That means that real WORK was put into the designs leading up to it.

Minimum number and complexity of parts too.

Elegant in looks is also a plus!

Thank You Mike!
It only takes a little extra time and effort to make a functional tool more pleasing to one's eye. It kind of makes it a tad more special when it get passes down to one of my grandkids who also like to shoot. It gives them the ability to tell thier friends my Grandpa made it when I was still a young one and it then becomes a family heirloom and not just another unkown purchased tool.
