	Randolph (Fulghum) front rest, with a muzzle sled. Belt drive elevation with windage. Edgewood Minigator rear bag filled with black sand. I think a good rear bag is really important. One that won't move around shot to shot. The front rest I think is more left to preference. As long as it's stable, and the adjustments don't drive you crazy, it'll work just fine. My Caldwell BR drove me absolutely nuts at times, but I always shot good scores with it. My Randolph takes all the stress out of going from one target to the next. I think that's a big plus, at least for me. JerryH

	I wish I could shoot halfway well offhand, so I wouldn't have to fight the junk bags and rests that I always seem to have. I have never found a rest and bag I like. Most of the time I shoot as well with my left hand supporting the butt. I agree with Jerry that the front only needs to be stable.

	With multiple bull targets, they are nothing but a series of sighters without a precision front rest. Single bull with 10 shots are a different matter. CBA will prove your front rest

	Front rest: A Fudd top with a base I made for single shots. Rear bag: a mini gator. 40 Rod

	Front is a Bald Eagle Base with a Shade Tree joystick top . Rear bag is a Protektor. Joystick top makes moving to sighter or holding off fast and easy. Dales

	I'm currently using a rabbit ear solid bottom Protektor bag and pretty much max out my elevation. Anyone else running in to this. I was thinking about changing to a bunny ear solid bottom bag.

	I'm with JerryH with the Randolph/Fulgham up front. Sweet & stable - very sm-o-o-o-th to adjust. At the butt ......... Protector Custom BR Bag. Weighs 21 1/2lbs filled. 6" X 7 1'2" X 7/8" solid leather base with non-slip suede/leather on the bottom. Medium/Heavy weight supple leather body with "ears" 5"L. X 2"H. with 1" passageway in between. Stock "contact area" is super slick fabric allowing firm fit and easy/no slip recoil. They'll custom make it to your specs, if needed. They say to allow a couple of weeks to make & deliver; but, mine came in at the speed of light. Great folks to deal with. Not cheap, ............... but expect what you pay for. I've never seen anything like it. A work of art. And, it works.

	While we are talking about bags, how hard do you fill your front bag? Rear one? I know weight will vary depending on what and how big the load is, but hardness of them may be as telling. Right?

	I had the guys at Protector do mine. I wanted it done right. Shipping cost wasn't going to affect my lifestyle in the least.

	I use an Edgewood front bag that mounts in my homebuilt rest, and an Edgewood Gator for my rear bag. I fill the ears fairly full so a small squeeze works good with it. All filled with black sand.

	Exposing my ignorance, but I have seen some with a box with a roller attached to the barrel, what is this type of setup called?
