Got it, when is it permissible to use a barrel sled? Can it be used in any bench rest match or ?

The Barrel Sled is legal in the ASSRA Matches I shoot in Modesto. Last year was my first Full Year of this type of shooting and don't know the legality beyond that.
I believe the complete rules for the different associations are to be found on line.
There has been quite a bit of talk on this forum in the past about barrel sleds and the sizes etc. that are legal.
