I think John hit the nail on the head. Not the secret ingredients it's all in the preparation... +1 on dancing around naked around the large cast iron kettle! I knew that I had been saving mine for a special occasion. I'll call it Voodoo lube! Main ingredient mandrake root and wing of bat LOL

Rapeseed is an industrial oil. High in erucic acid C22:1 and high in glucosinolates.
It is a good feed stream for nylon among other things. The meal (byproduct of
the pressing) is not good for animal feed.
Canola (TM) ( Can from Canada and ola , for oil ) is a low euric acid and low glucosinolate variety. Double whammy here; you get good cooking oil and the meal
is suitable for chicken feed ( ~40 % protein vs 48% for soybean meal).
Canola as the advertisers will tell you is high in mono-unsaturated fatty acids.
Glucosinolates are the 'hots' in mustard.
Mustard/Canola is a good rotation crop with wheat. The roots may go down 20'.
High glucosinolate varieties are sometimes used as green manure; plow under before
they have mature seed and then plant your real crop. The glucosinolates pretty much
get rid of your nematode problems.

Dave,
Someone at the post office is not done reading it or it is stuck in the sorting machine and when they get it out there will not be much left to read. Grin

The system that the post office uses to get the magazine out is, can only be the product of government think. The printer delivers the magazines to the post office as batched by similar zip codes. The post office grabs the bins and processes them in random order and does as many as they get around to. You would think that they would work on that entire batch till done but apparently that isn’t fair to government think. Give it a couple more weeks. Or check with near by buddies if they got theirs and you didn’t chances are the postman liked the cover.
