Anyone having success with Lil'Gun

Local supplier has 8lbrs and I thought people were having succes so  I am just looking for feedback. I currently use it for .410 skeet loads but 8lbs is two lifetimes supply. I really want 300MP but never any around.

Thank you,
Charles

It's the most accurate and highest velocity powder I've found for my 22 Hornet.  Don't remember the charge right now and I'm away from my notes but 8 lbs. would last longer than I will.

It seems to want more pressure than plain base shooting needs.  25k psi and up.  I wonder at it, because it as allegedly developed for the .410 shotgun shell.  But there it is.  I have never tried it in the bigger Schuetzen type cartridges, however.  Only in my .25-21 and .25-20.  It did not match or even approach the accuracy I get with AA#9.

But it does wonders for full power loads in my Hornet, too.  And it has been my best accuracy load in the .357 Maximum, in a 10" Contender barrel, 180 grain JHP. Quickload says the nominal pressure for that load is 38,000 psi.

I tried it in my 32-30 IMP and found that the SDs quadrupled when measured against AA 4100 at the same velocities.
