My friend and mentor Charles Ebright passed away December 27th at the age of 88. Charlie was featured in passed Journal articles. Prayer to the family.

Charlie Ebright will be missed. There are a lot of shooters who owe their start in single shots to Charlie. Charlie was a tireless promoter of the sport, a pretty good gunsmith, and an infectious personality. You couldn’t help but like Charlie the moment that you met him.
We are truly diminished.

First met Charlie at the Coors matches at the Tusco range  at Midvale, Ohio, then would see him at OGCA shows, Slug Gun at Canal Fulton and at the Ohio Longrifle Collector shows at Marietta annually.  We'll all miss your knowledge and presence.

Charlie volunteered a reline as a prize for one of the ASSRA matches which I was fortunate enough to win.  I enjoyed our conversations relating to the reline and he did a great job on it.  He had a helluva sense of humor!
