Old 1934 vintage Unertl in it's original browned finish. On top of my newer Cody Ballard Schoyen model .22LR. I think they go well together, and the 6x Unertl will work OK for casual shooting.

I must say that rifle is sure appealing- made moreso by that nice hunk o' wood on the tail end, with it's flowing grain and beautiful color. Couldn't make a better landing spot for the scope than that. Merry Christmas. Pat

Thanks Pat! Had the scope forever, but the Ballard is a recent purchase. They did use a nice piece of lumber on it!

Looks like you found the correct accessory for your cool old scope; very nice rifle.

Thanks Patriot! My first "clone". I've been stuck on old original Ballards, and honestly never looked at the Cody Ballards before. Never realized what I was missing.

It's an MVA silhouette soule type, with Hadley disc. Front is a Baldwin globe.

Thanks John! It's a long 30" Badger barrel. Full round, and extra heavy weight. I may need to hit the gym before shooting much offhand with it! Very heavy gun at around 12 lbs.
