2000 I worked on a project in Mexico , based out of a office in Galveston flying back and forth Monday's and Friday's.

Took my CPA Schuetzen to Texas and shot with the guys at New Braunfels many weekends.  They were real nice to me went out of there way.  Also a good BPCS Match about half way between Houston and New Braunfels.

Not sure about Schuetzen matches, but (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) holds BPCR matches at their range outside of Mexia, TX. Will be headed down to their .22BPCR & BPCR TX State Championship the first weekend of May.
Here's a pic of the leather cheek-rest I won last year.

What part of Texas are you wanting to shoot in? One range mear Mexia. Another west of Graham that opens in march and draws some Oklahoma folks to shoot with and a third in north Texas west of Abilene called Ft. Chadborne. All silhoutte bpcr.

I'm aware of all the BPCR ranges here in Texas. I've shot at all of them & still shoot at Yaupon Creek near Columbus. But as far as I know they do not shoot the schuetzen game. New Braunfels does have a club but it looks as if they just shoot 22s except for one centerfire match every year.

They shoot often at New Braunfels, not always organized matches.  Fact is other than half a dozen spots in the country most Schuetzen is couple times a year. My area we have one or two Virginia couple North Carolina and Maryland winter 4 gallery matches up in Pennsylvania.  Closest one to me few hundred miles.

When I was in Texas most of my offhand, formal match, was Smallbore Silhouette in Houston and Beaumont. You pretty much have to shoot several disciples to maintain offhand skills.
