I think it's the rifle on CPA's web site, Scope is a STS just like mine, front sight riser is lower and mine was too at first. Shot it for a while with the lower front, once zeros were established so I could calculate height had Mike Stevens make a higher base to get it up to scope sight height.

I don't know if you guys remember Mike but he was the first to reproduce the Soule Tang sight. One on this gun is a MVA other CPA carries one of Mike Stevens Soules.  Used to switch it back and forth. Now each has it's own.

Never confirmed it's the web site rifle with CPA though.

That is one fine rifle. Great stock finish and checkering too. Anyone would be proud to own that one!

Boats, what barrel weight (number) is your gun?  I am having a similar CPA rifle built and am concerned about the weight for shooting off hand.  I'm in a quandary as to what barrel to put on.  Spoke to Gail and she suggested a Number 2 or 2 1/2 half round/half octagon 26" long.

I have a CPA Silhouette with a Model 52 butt stock and Pope butt plate that has a 28" number 4 full octagon barrel and it is too heavy for me to hold for any length of time - i.e. cant hold long enough for silhouette.

Beautiful rifle, boats.  Just had CPA to build me on the Pope style.  .22RF/.25-20 WCF.  After I got them, I decided to have another action/stock for the .25-20 barrel.  My barrels are both #2 1/2 x 28" octagon to round and both balance very nicely offhand.
What height is your front sight and scope bases?  I assume your rear sight is a long range to get the height needed for the Pope cheek piece.

Never mind the mule. Just load the wagon.

GeorgeC, I do not know what height the sights and scope bases will be as I have left this up to Gail at CPA.

Travelor, actually my questions were addressed to boats.
