True. They have match ammo too. I got new wipers for my truck today. They put them on for me.

Yes. We couldn't have driven to Blackfoot to shoot .22 silhouette without the new wipers. If I'd needed .22 ammo, could have got that too.

Bob, where did you live in Idaho? Or should I ask where you milked cows when you were a kid?

Did both on a farm about halfway between Kuna and Melba as the crow flies. Lived on Can-Ada road, the county line.  1 1/4 miles east of Bowmont.  Should still be a few tons of shot and millions of 22 bullets available for salvage around there if you can get a mining lease from current owners  Grin

"Several suppliers available  for lower priced match stuff as well. Champions, Zander's, Killough's have several options down to and below $5 a box"

I checked Killough's site, in 19 pages of listed ammo, the cheapest was $7/box - Eley Target.

The supply must be increasing, saw quite a bit at the last show for better prices, the neckbeards must be liquidating in advance of increasing supply.

Urban dictionary says,  Derogatory term for slovenly nerdy people who have no sense of hygiene or grooming. Often related to hobbies such as card gaming, video gaming, anime, et. al.

Midsouth has Norma Match and other .22LR on sale. $69.95/brick for Norma Match, which shoots well in my rifle. Note that its per-brick price is better than its half-case price by ~$10/brick (think they need to check their math).

Glenn - 2x CPA 44 1/2 w/22LR (Shilen ratchet-rifled & Bartlein 5R rifled), 38-40RH & 38-55WCF (Bartlein 5R rifled) & 40-65WCF (GrnMtn 'X') barrels

Thanks Joe. For a while there I was fearing that some moniker like that would be a description of me. Now that I read your post I'm relieved to know that of all the things I am, neckbeard is not one of 'em. Merry Christmas to you too. Pat

Northwesternese for folks that haunt the usual ammo places, scoop up .22 ammo for retail and resell for 2x retail.  Hogs and hoarders.
