Hey folks!
With my first post, I would like to let y'all know that the R/H #3
that I won on the RIA auction earlier this month passed through customs!
"Your item was processed through a facility in CANADA on November 22, 2015 at 10:30 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination."
I cannot be more excited, and disappointed  Embarrassed  I head back into the bush for another 7 days in the oilfields of Alberta.
About all I know about her is:

Serial #:      2853      Manufacturer:      Remington Arms Inc
Model:      Hepburn #3      Type:      Rifle
Gauge:      44      Finish:      blue
Grips:      N/A      Stock:      walnut
Class:      Antique      Rating Code:      OF NPRF
Barrel Length:      27 inch octagon

I am going to try and find some cerrosafe and do a chamber casting, asap.

There are probably going to be a million questions coming at ya.....

Hope y'all are having a great hunting season!

Later.....

Schuetzendave....
the only thing they could tell me, was, that the marking under the forestock showed 44.
I am hoping for one of the LONG 44's. Always wanted a 44-77 SBN. Even though my Shiloh is a 45 GOV'T.

I will post pics as soon as I get home and put together. They ship it broken down for cheaper shipping.

Later....
