Go to a free website like Shrinkpictures and cut the pixels or whatever they are down to a manageable size.  The photo will be small enough to be encompassed by the width of a normal post without losing enough resolution to bother with.

I remember hearing about Single Shot, Inc. but can't remember any details.  A lot of cottage industries had started 20 or 30 years ago trying to replicate some of the old classic designs.  Few remained in business for very long.
