At auction yesterday I bought a Ballard Bench gun with the name R. A. Strite Springfield MO Stamped on the bottom flat.  A copy of the Pope Lube pump also marked by Mr. Strite came with it Barrel is dated 1.1.81.  Any iformation would help.  The barrel is 29 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 across the flats.  Note with the rifle lsay the barrel was made by Ken Briesen.
