125 years old and she shoots like the day she was born; incredible.  If anyone recognizes the rifle I'm curious about the restoration.

I'm afraid that I can't tell you anything about it but I do have some questions.  Barrel weight? length? originality?  Where did you find it?  I have been looking for a high wall in 22lr for a couple of years or so with no luck.  I have some parts and I am right now planning on building one if I cant find one so anything you tell me about your gun will help, even if it only fans the flames.

It is a 26 inch #1 barrel.  I found it in an online estate auction.  Originality? ... still researching.

The single shot rifles in the upcoming RIA firearm collector auction are pricey, but there is one 1885 schuetzen that is a work of art.

I've shot a fair amount of target and silhouette offhand, but the past year its been 22 sporter when I needed a break from prone.  It came in handy today.  Shooting irons with the set trigger was pure fun.

Nice looking rifle. Is it a flat-spring or coil spring rifle?

God how I'd like to get hold of one of those.  I can just see a vintage scope on it, aimed at some unsuspecting squirrel.  Grin
