Anyone have any good ideas for resizing .264 jacketed bullets to .261 or .262?

    I have been trying to upset 140 gr 7mm (.284) bullets to around .290" with only moderate success.   Anyone done anything like this before?

you can get dies from corbin but sometimes when reducing the size you will get loose cores.

I once had a Model 1895 Winchester in 303 British.  The bore was way over size for a 303; something like .314 or .315.  I got a Lee .314 sizing die and some "J" Mauser bullets (.318).  Ran them through the die and they rebounded to .315.  Shot great in the '95.

I made a push through die for my Rockchucker Press to swage 0.263" bullets down to 0.260" for an oversize bore .25 Remington autoloader.  They went through with no trouble and if the cores were loose, I could see no evidence.

Nowadays, it would be more cost effective to have Lee make a set, unless you enjoy making stuff.

Buy a Corbin Swage press and the die for what you want.
