32 mould diameter ?

Have a CPA 32-40 bbl that is .3135 - .3215 diameters.

This suggests .322 -.323 diameter mould, yes?

Seems like a large variance in diameter of the bore? Is this a choked barrel, or what? .3135" is tiny for a .32-40, and hope that doesn't create issues with a bullet sized to fit the larger diameter of .3215"?
I would agree on the.322"-.323" diameter mold, just not sure how it will work with the minimum size of your CPA bore.

groove diameter, bore diameter

puts groove depth (.3215 - .3135 = .008 then divide by 2 = .004")  to normal depth.

I like to go at least .001" over groove for smokeless.  You didn't say if B.S. or fixed..but your .322-.323 should work with either.  In my .38-55 with it's .379 groove dia., I can only use up to .380" in fixed because of chamber dimensions.

Thanks for the clarification! That makes much more sense than that much variation in a CPA barrel.

Yes, with Paul's name on it, it lives up to my expectations of highest quality.  Smooooooth running a patch (or a 00 buck shot) from breech to muzzle.

Have not flipped the coin on fixed or breech seating.

I guess I need to do a chamber cast too.

(00 buck may work for squirrels....)

No, .3215 suggests .3215 to .322. Preferably .3215

SO, if it casts .3225 would you size it down a smidge?
