	Good shooting weather again today so took some time off work to try shooting the 300-MP I first shot last Thursday. It was shooting pretty much as it did last week when I shot my best 200yd group ever with my High Wall. It was a bit more windy for the first hour or so then it died down. I switched to my other 32-40 a Ballard with a 11.5 gaintwist RKS barrel and shot he target below. So close to being a my first 250! The group measured .8" Again I was shooting the Hoch Darr spitzer @20-1 with 12.1 grs or 300-MP and Rem 9 1/2 primers rssulting in somewhere around 1350 fps. The day did not start that well when I decided to put my first shot on a can off to the left of my target, forgetting that I had set up the chrony. Put a good crease in the front aluminum rod. I could only find half of the back one. Ooops....... Jack

	Dave, The Darr design on the right is 1.168" long and at 20-1 weighs about 208.7 gr. It shoots well in the RKS barreled Ballard and the 14-1 Green Mountain barrel on my High Wall. I also am working on my Paul Jones Spitzer which is 1.265" and weighs in about 223.8. Admittedly I haven't spent as much time with the PJ bullet and 300-MP but that will be my next task. That is what I shot at Spokane with 4227. I am hoping the 300-MP will be more consistent. Jack

	Thanks Jerry. That one shot looked in with the spotting scope, but it just did not make it. it was shot #2 I think. It is fun to show these targets to the guys sighting in their hunting rifles at 50 and 100 yds. Most have never heard of breech seating and have never seen a Lyman Super Targetspot 'sniper' scope

	I don't have a chronograph, but if I thought my shooting would get that good after plugging one.... well, I'd shoot the one the guy next to me had! Nice work!

	Luckily the Shooting Crony just has some aluminum rods to hold up the diffusers. I had some wooden dowels that I had made to fit, so I was still in business. Odd diameter rods though. Look to be 4mm. I was able to salvage the bent one. I wish I would have shot it long ago. Jack

	Good lookin target Jack. Showing funny stuff to the hunters sighting in at 50 or 100 for their 400 yard shots reminds me of shooting my .54 flint with round ball one day just to see what it would do. One of the few hunters I had ever see shoot at 200 happened to be doing it that day. 200 is a bit far for RB, but he was shooting about the same with his scope sighted HP rifle. Of course, the flinter had open irons. He didn't say anything when he looked at the targets, but I suppose he thought he should be doing better or I should have been a little worse
