Went to the range today to try 300 MP in the 28-30. The flier on the target was my fault. Shot this at 100yds. Anxious to try it at 200.

What Primer, Bullet and barrel Twist Rate?
You are off to a real good start and it can get better from there.

The twist rate is 1-16. I used Winchester small pistol magnum primers. The bullet is 135 grs- with quite a bit of taper. The base measures .292 and it goes up to .280.
Yes, Jeff it was the Pope.
See you next week at EG.

Give it a try and report back its working extremely well in my 25-21 and a new shooters 25 Hornet and it should work in the 25-20WCF. As of this morning Midsouth Shooters Supply had both the 1lb. and 8lb. containers in stock should you need some to try.

This has been on my to-do list for quite some time. I just haven't found the time to try it. I would be interested in your results if you do give it a try.
