	Now that competition is over I need to work with my ASSRA No. 26 Ruger No. 1. The throat measures .328, the 28.5 inch 8-groove bore mikes at .3242-3274. Twist is 1:16. I'd like to order a slightly tapered spitzer (or slight flat point) in the 200 gr. range with a 1:20 to 1:30 hardness bullet but am open to other ideas. This won't be a competition piece but I'd sure like to hit an accurate bullet first time around.

	Pentz a copy of the Darr 195gr. Flat Nose would be an excellent choice for your 16 Twist. That bullet is very user friendly and still holds some records in ASSRA from the 70's. All though some will argue I get less wind drift with that bullet at 200yds. than my various spitzer designs. Mine is cylindrical and a better choice than the tapered if you can find one if you will be breach seating. I am a little confused in regards to exactly what your groove dia. is, could you please re-clarify I might have a mould that would work for you? JLouis

	I do intend to breech seat. But a mold is needed before it can be ordered unless a used one is available. Yes, the bore is an oddball size and however I measure it comes out large. The chamber cast is 32-40 and the barrel is not marked. I would be happy to send a bore slug and chamber pound cast to anyone I terested.

	I would look into something with a Hudson type base to fill that large throat. 40 Rod
