Many years ago there was a huge hoopla concerning the usage of floral foam.
I at that time sat down an had a great conversation with Mr. Plastic. "Paul" and had a lesson in plastic science which much of was way over my head. Anyway Paul explained that he had tested floral foam an told me when shot out of a gun; it became a " non abrasive inert black ash" was his words....... Since that conversation I switched to an used floral foam ever since.
An recently I came across this scientific experiment which made me think of Paul and his experiment's. Have a look at this ;

So in the tests you did. Were these results good or bad?
I dint follow your Hypothesis on use of floral for wadding.
