Ran across this old Gerstner chest that has supposedly had some replacement hardware and felt replaced. The key is missing.

Never mind the mule. Just load the wagon.

IF you want a key replaced, get hold of Gerstner in Dayton OH.
There is a number on the lock that will tell them what key it is.
They also have parts etc for the boxes.

I use a Kennedy Mid Tool Box that I added a tray and rifle rest to. Holds everything.

Hello George
That looks like a nice box in good condition, should make a great range box.

Thanks, Don

Don't forget Rubbermaid tubs. They fit larger spotting scopes, stands and bags.

52jones57, what is the height of the bases on your CPA Stevens Pope?  They look mighty high.  The reason I am asking is I have a CPA with that high cheek piece on order and I have never seen that model with those high bases. What works is what you need.

Welcome to the Forum and ASSRA.

This is my .22lr it has a high convex cheek piece, the blocks are 1/2". This allows me a comfortable upright position. My center fire has a high concave cheek piece, I am using the standard height blocks on that and they fit fine. I might go to a 3/8" block on the center fire at some point. I purchased the blocks from Steve Earle. I know it looks funny but it sure fits nicely.

I understand why you have them for that stock. They sure look taller than a 1/2".  I guess it is the camera angle.  Beautiful rifle.

Good catch George. I checked when I got home today, they are 5/8". Not sure why 1/2" stuck in my head.

The main thing is what works for you.  You have plenty of clearance for the objective lens on your scope. BTW what power is that Unertl?

20x. Now that I have my center fire I put the 20x on the 32-40 and the 25-20WCF and .22lr have 10x scopes.
