Would appreciate any info on which brand of 25-20 SS brass in your experience  is the best and your pet loads for it.   Thanks

These days Jamison is probably the best 25-20SS that you can buy. After that you can get Rocky Mountain to make you up some brass. Stay away from the Bartlett brass its. Junk.

Ballard: You might want to consider Rocky Mountain lathe turned brass - one at a time

These 2 brands are extruded cases
* Bertram - avoid like the bubonic plague 
* Jamison - Ok, but still extruded that with work hardening - will split

Haven't had any problems with my Jamison brass I purchased 2 years ago.  No splits yet, but I only neck size after firing and it is separated by the gun it was shot in.

I have one gun, Maynard, with the original 25-20 SS chamber that has a little roughness.  Bertram brass sticks (soft brass)and the Jamison drops right out.

Jamison is good brass,  I bought the basic brass and annealed and formed
them to 25-20 SS no problem at all.  If you buy already made 25-20 SS cases
I would anneal them before using them.  FWIW.  I load mine with bullets cast
from my Barnett mold so load data would be of no use to you but I do use 4227
powder.  Charlie
