J. Louis, Thanks for the kind words. Dale Reynolds put on a good / safe match for all of us at the Alabama Hunt Club in western NYS. The first day of the match was nearly unbearable with humidity and heat. This was the first match that I used my new CPA 25-20SS. That score and group was thanks to the bullets Jerry Hartwig sent me to try. I'm trying to have a mold made that copies it. The Western New York Schuetzen  Society has a great bunch of shooters. It's a brotherhood of single shots.

Excellent shooting everyone!

Sendaro,

I didn't think you would be so quick to show your cards. If I contributed in any way, it was in a small way. It's all about the "Indian" and the "arrow".

It really is a shame we're so far apart. Our two clubs could have way more fun than either of our states allow.

J Louis,
The Hoch .258/105 is the bullet that I have been using. In my org. Stevens mod 44 with at 1 in 13" twist it shoots the better than any of the other bullets I've tried. However my new CPA has a 1 in 10" twist and it is handling the 120 grain Mos bullet much more consistent. Have tried bullets from and old Ideal adjustable mold as light as 65 grains and as heavy as 100 grains. They were not tapered and only shot fair in my org Stevens 44. So I'm seeking a bullet mold that case a bullet like those that Jerry sent me to try. Have contacted Boomers Molds in Canada. Have been told that Mos no longer makes molds.
