Much better results . Casting a .321 diameter bullet . Took some advice and used no flux and mold release just cleaned mold with brake parts cleaner . Discovered the Hoch molds like to run very hot . Group sizes shrinking . Experimented with some different alloy mix . Seating depth no problems . Seating as expected according to Paul Shuttleworth . Good seal in chamber and barrel . Settled on 14.0 grains of IMR 4227 . At the early stages I was loading just 13.5 grs. This was ok for 100 yard work, but forgot some of my basic bullet theory and flight stability with a longer bullet design . The 14.0 grs. stabilizing these longer bullets better than 13.5 grs. I know the barrel twist rate is where most of the bullet stability comes from, however I think the extra FPS helped. Thanks .

It sure does. The pleasure in shooting for me is in the process or quest for extreme accuracy . If I cannot place my bullets where I want them to go then there is no enjoyment for me . That's what I like about this type of shooting , we have to make our own stuff  . We take raw materials like lead and make it into something . Most make their own lube. A thing that most shooters who just buy their bullets of a shelf will never know anything about !
