Assembled cartridge RUN-OUT measurement

I'm just starting to load for 38-55 / 375 Win for 4 rifles.  Using 298gr Saeco 571 mould.

Just for grins, I tried measuring run-out (on one of the bands) as I turned the ctg in the fixture.

Some were only .002" others ran .008".

Haven't shot any yet (it's still dark out) but I might well use this measurement to control the steps in the assembly.

Yes, the brass case started life as a 30-30.

I might could also mark a few for orientation to see how much that would control group size.
