Annealing for smokeless?

I never anneal my smokeless brass unless it becomes so work hardnend that it affects neck tension.  I know some black powder shooters anneal before each loading..but what about our lower pressure cast  smokeless loadings?  I just recieved a batch of new Starline .38-55 brass..this stuff seems harder than other brass, I wonder if it would pay to anneal before loading?

Anneal it all.  Right at the beginning.

Then you KNOW that all the brass is the same hardness.
