Nice work.  I'd like to do something a little more classy than the cardboard boxes I currently use.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Bauer Cases, who carries the major name hard cases, is down the road here in Vancouver.  I stopped by and they will (for a nice fee) custom-cut a Pelican case to my rifle and scope, as well an any accessories.  I need to sell a kidney for this but it will be about 8% of the rifle and scope combo.

Here is the case I made for my CPA 2 barrel set. The case is a Pelican. I cut the foam with a thin blade fillet knife. Lay everything out in the case and trace around things with a white small tip marker. Keep the knife verticle while you cut. For items that are thinner than the foam layer that you just cut you can take the piece of foam removed and slice it to the thickness you need and place it back into the cut.

Oldman:
Great job - fine setup. It's a nice way to protect one's investments. I was looking at Bauer's site for a better case.  Have 5 CPA barrels mounted with scopes is a double rifle case now - not cut into the foam though
Thanks for sharing
