You can usually find recent posts that seem to have disappeared by clicking on the member profile of someone who recently replied to it or in this case the OP and selecting last 10 or 20 posts.

Nice rifle, I have one that is similar and I love it.   

Is that a a Weaver scope base mounted to the barrel flats?  The one that CPA sells?

The only problem with these rifles is you can't blame the equipment Roll Eyes

Utahdave , that is the only issue I really had was the base that CPA sent with the rifle . I spoke with Gail concerning I was going to use the Weaver T-Series 24x scope and she informed me they had a special Weaver base that they would adapt to give enough rear/eye relief . When I received the base the flat section of the base was milled to far forward and did not fit to the front of the receiver and you could see the rear screw which had no support . Also the two front screws were either to long or the holes in the barrel were tapped to shallow which resulted in a loose base. I had a local gunsmith re-mill another Weaver base and fix the two screws that were loose . Cost another 40.00$ , would of cost that in shipping to send back to CPA .
