I have a 20 power Eunirtl Programer I had increased with a Barlow lense. A Barlow is a Plano-concave lense played in front of the eyepiece. Increased to 32 power. Still in the air weather I like it or not.

Probably won't work with a STS - funny, reminded me of that enzyte commercial, the guy with the big grin.

Back on topic, last match the mirage was dancing pretty handsomely through my 25x.  The 30 x may be too much this time of year.

Pentz,

Seeing the mirage has it's advantages. It's there whether you see it or not. Being able to see it, and knowing how to adjust/compensate for it, will gain you points. Mirage gives a much truer indication of wind speed and will show "things" that your flags don't. At least that has been my experience.

Back on track, here's a picture of the back of a Lyman STS owners manual. This should answer the questions about power changes.
