I should have read a bit on this prior to posting this question but am lazy. are there postal matches available. I have a bit of a hard time doing a lot of traveling since my last heart attack and bout with cancer. there are matches in Spokane and maybe some near Seattle I got started shooting cast bullet matches with postal matches. I did make it to the other side of the hill and shot cast bullet military rifle nationals ( managed to come in 2nd in 100 yard 5 shot group ) several years ago. I haven't seen anything on postal matches on the magazine I get. there was a time I considered myself a pretty fair shot.. now I just have a heck of a lot of fun slinging lead at a paper target. since I got my cpa I have picked up another model 44 stevens in 32-40, a martini cadet in 218 mashburn bee, a ubirti low wall in 32-20 and last but not least a Husqvarna single shot bolt gun.  I am not going to shoot anything much except the cpa until I am satisfied I have shot it as well as I possibly can. joe
