What sort of throat erosion can be expected in a 32-40 using fast burning pistol powder?

Have shot 30,000 to 60,000 205 grain to 235 grain .32 caliber rounds @ 1,350 fps to 1,526  fps in each of three rifles using 11.5 grains to 13.1 grains AA #9, H108 or WC820 without any sign of throat erosion when viewed with a bore scope.

Rifles were: .32 RKS Meachem Hoch, .32 RKS 1885 Winchester High Wall, and .32 RKS Miller DeHass with RKS stainless steel barrels.

Same as Dave many thousands of rounds no erosion.

On the other hand I have "worn out" Several modern .30 cal barrels shooting Silhouette. Have a couple take offs with no rifling at all first few inches. In fact reason few use . 243 in Silhouette is you can't get a season out of a barrel.

Plain base lead bullet probably impossible to wear one out.

Thanks guys, thought that would be the case. I have always shot 6ppc, 6br, 6xc. Those have always been a concern.

Thanks
Larry
