One more tip for those with arthritic hands. Replace the round handle with a shortened hammer handle it makes it much easier to grip and turn. I can’t take credit for this, I bought a set of Cabin tree handles from Steve Durren and he had added the handle. After one casting session I replaced all my handles with hammer handles.

Interesting. Any chance you could post a picture of a couple of your sets of handles? Thanks.

I do use a hammer handle replacing the round handle on my locking handles.  It is placed with the flats horizontal.  Makes it way easier to grip.
