Nobel Revolver #3 powder data book request

Looking for ANY info (not necessarily load data but more burn rate/equivalency to known powder profiles) on the NobelSport Revolver#3, very similar and maybe near replacement for SR7641 per the handlers (in physical attributes, not burn rates!!!!), It is MUCH slower than 7641/4759

I know someone on the ASSRA forum has a data book from 20-30 years ago covering NOBEL ICI powders made in Glasgow. All I need is someone to throw me a BONE on this one and Ill be off and running for development.

Please don't confuse it with Pistol3 or Rifle 3, its vastly different!

I have access to QUITE a bit of it.
Its tubular, hollow, fine small tube extruded rifle powder. Speed is SLOWER than W296 and slower than WC-680, yet UBER BULKY. An an 8 lib jug barely holds 6 lbs topped off.
That makes it faster than RL-7 if I am correct. But its bulk is what makes me happy. Like the Trail Boss of fast rifle powders.
Ive contacted Nobel by email in France, who knows if they will even respond to me.

Any insight into viability for high density, efficient cast bullet loading with this powder would be helpful.
Best
Mike

I have the Nobel handbooks, going back to the 1960s.
There is no mention of a Revolver no3---just Pistol no1, 2 & 3.

I have to concur with Fred I used both Black and White powders made by ICI (Nobel) from the late 1950's up until the 1990's and I've never heard of a revolver powder produced by them just Pistol Powders.

It's for real, many documented signings of revolver 1,2&3.

Some load data exists on net for REV-1, similar to 4227 in load data and characteristics.

There's 200lbs avail for purchase as well by seller has no data for it and has done no testing. This is not from a private seller stash either. Big distribute has it avail.

Mike

Added: there is for sure a pistol 1-3, rifle 1-3 and revolver 1-3.

I have the reloading data for Nobel powders and still use Revolver 1 in my .357 revolver (20.og with 125g sierra semi jacketed hollow point projectiles) this is a hot load I use it in a S & W Mod. 28 6"bbl. Am currently away from home and will be for some four weeks more. Give me a reminder then if you still need the info. regards David A. (Australia)

Mike, I have looked through my old Australian loading manuals (1961 & 70)...a trip down memory lane....and they list Nobel Pistol No. 1-3 but only Revolver No.1&2, no No. 3. Rev No.2 used in the .32/20 with a 115 gr GC (starter 9 to max 10.8 gr). Dupont 4227 listed with the same bullet with 12 to 14 gr. Maybe Rev no.3 was produced later.

I know that there was once a Rev-3, a Pis-3 and Rif-3.
Currently, all I find are references to Vectan and not to the old powder designations.
Pis-3 was right there with Bullseye and Solo 100. Rev-3 was right there with 296/H110.
Rif-3 was there with 5744 XMR and N130.
