Annual single shot show

Just a heads up for any folks here in the Pacific NW. Sunday of Memorial Day weekend is Oregon Arms Collectors annual single shot theme show. Always a gret one for people like us who love and appreciate single shot rifles. Usually some nice displays, and some singles for sale or trade.
OAC is a NRA non profit collector's club, and not a commercial venture, so it's a nicer atmosphere also. Only $3 entry, and free parking. Best bargain around! Lots of friendly, helpful people to assist in any gun related questions, or just socialize with like mined folks.
It's an early one! Starts at 7:00 a.m. and done by noon! Directions, and info are in my signature line.

I'll be there, having missed the last show!  My favorite show, especially the full-house Schuetzen that always shows up along the south wall....sigh....

This and the annual two day show are my favorites! I was on the waiting list for tables at the two day show, and someone cancelled! So I got lucky and got my display/trade tables for the two day show last week for the August show!

Slight hi-jack, but the Colorado Collectors Gun Show is this week-end. No black stuff and usually well worth the trip.

Yes, I have friends there now. Had another friend (who lives there) sent me pics today of his new engraved Ballard #6 Schuetzen he got at the show today! I'm just a tad jealous!

There were several very nice Ballard's. Just out of my price league, but sure pretty to look at. Glad your friend got one. Excellent displays of Marlin handguns. Did not realize Marlin made that variety of handguns. Learn something every trip.

I know Rick Regnier (MFACA secretary) has a wonderful Marlin handgun collection, and was probably there with it. John Marlin built handguns for 5 years prior to taking on Ballard rifle production. This was right after he left Colt.
I'm less jealous today! Picked up a very nice #4 Perfection this afternoon!
