While the rifle I shoot 4759 in (a Finn model 27 moisin nagant) isn't a single shot, I use 20.0 grains 4759 in the 7.62x54R cartridge with the Lyman 314299 GC bullet. Even at at loading I still get an occasional bunch of unburned powder granules and this with the winchester LRP. That is my go to powder for this cartridge. Darn shame it is on the discontinued list. The javelina lube keeps the bore well lubed and like 4759 they don't make it anymore. Frank
