More Testing With The Winchester 1885 Deluxe Low Wall in 22 Short 

This calm evening I finally had a little time to try some RWS R25 that I recently purchased. I had very high hopes for the German made 22 short ammo hoping that it would turn out my best groups yet. 

After I set up my rests, chronograph and target stand at 25 yards I was finally ready. I carefully picked up the old Winchester 1885 Deluxe Low Wall and proceeded to shoot seven five shot groups with the RWS R25 ammo. Not one of the groups were good, most running an inch or more with vertical in each one. 

So I decided to shoot my high velocity CCI HP and CCI Target ammo to see if it was me.  These two have performed well for me in the previous tests. Well they did again. The high velocity CCI HP ammo five shot group was .560 and the CCI Target ammo was .371 and four of the five shots of that group went into a tiny .119!! 

So I just guess my petite Deluxe Winchester Low Wall that was made in America just prefers America made ammo!   

The RWS R25 was SPL coated and averaged 820 fps.
