Second outing with the 32-20 CPA

Fired off my second batch of 100 loads the other day.  I'm trying to figure out how this rifle likes to be held; it seems to like firm fore end and butt pressure with the grip held lightly, no thumb.  It does have the 3 1/2 " fore arm but the butt is semi-sporter.
The two best loadings were 11.6 of 296 under the Hoch 210 gr spire point at 1330 fps, and 11.6 of 4227 at 1360.  A .02" floral foam wad was seated at the mouth and the powder shaken to the back before loading.  Lube was 60/40 LLA/Johnsons liquid floor wax, sparingly applied and dried overnight.  Absolutely no leading, and it left a mild lube star.

Still lacking the  proper powders but the 10-round groups are beginning to look promising.  I'll slowly boost the powder charges up to around 1450 fps.   Will also try Darr lube dipped.

All though you might not be getting leading I tend to think your lube is lacking and it will effect your overall performance on the target. It is also best to insure that all the lube grooves are filled or you will introduce an unbalance to the bullets. Your bullets are spinning somewhere around 70,000 RPM's depending on velocity and twist and just as in a drive shaft or your tires it is extrmely critical to keep them balanced to ones best abilities. Your best bet would be to pan lube in regards to filling all the grooves equaly.
