Breach seater manufacture question

I an going to make a breach seater for a high wall 38-55. I have made seaters for 32-40 and 25-20 SS before. On the ones I've previously made the case is loose on the push rod. In pictures and ads that the cases seem to be attached solidly. How is this done? JB weld (or equivalent)?  Solder? A threaded connector?

Bob are you saying you want it to be non adjustable? If so you can drill and tap the case and thread it onto the end of the push rod and locktite it. It would be best if it was adjustable but the case would have to float on the seater stem so you can insert the bullet and seat it central to the bore.

The BSer can be made adjustable and attached to the body of the BSer.

Use a 1/4" plunger rod, drill and tap the case 5/16 x 24 with either a chamfer of thread relief to get it to butt against the BS body. Case heads are about .200 long so, the threads don't need to longer than that. The stadard drill size is and I (.272) but you still get 50% thread with a 9/32 drill and that should hold the case fine and give a thicker wall for the BS body to rod for support.

Your plunger will have to be all brass or a brass insert on the bullet end, threaded or pressed on.

Your case will still stay on the BSer w/o threading, if you use the 1/4" plunger rod and a bullet size insert, larger than the rod. It will be able to move fore and aft but, will remain on the BSer.

My apologies to the group. I seem to have lost my ability to communicate.  My question is not about adjustability. The seaters I make are adjustable. They are mechanical, not push type seaters. The question I am trying to ask is how to attach the case to the front of the seater body.

Russ Weber drills and taps the case which is threaded on to the seater body.
