Lead/tin alloys soften?

I always thought, because there is no antimony, that a simple lead/tin alloy would not age harden, then soften over time. Now I'm hearing that they do soften. True or false?

I have found in my own tests that lead/tin will be almost 2 brinell softer in a months time. After that they dont seem to change
Of course I water drop and that may be contributing to a false initial hardness
