Inexpensive Bore Scope Review......Article

Lots of discussion on n the various forums about all the under $50 Bore Scopes available on Ebay and Amazon. I decided to buy a few and test them out to see if they were viable for gunsmithing and general firearm inspection. I wrote an article with loads of actual videos and posted it on my web site. I hope you enjoy it!

Another great read.  I too always wonder how they can make a new extra-fancy widget with autogyros and up converters and ship it across the world for less than it would cost me to make the box.

Keep up the good work.  I always enjoy your articles.

Those work better than I expected.  This year I'm going to buy a borescope, mostly to inspect the bore condition for any sign of leading/fouling after cleaning.

I'll probably go with the Hawkeye though.

I bought a $300 scope from "Innovative Technologies" that solves the illumination problem with a white plastic bead instead of the plug gage.   That part works very well.

Not as good as a Hawkeye, and I'm seriously conflicted about having it.  On the one hand I can examine old bores, but on the other hand it tells me things that I didn't know I didn't want to know.
