Bullet Coefficient

Trying to find a BC for some bullets, and after searching hi and low I am unable to find them. It is a Saeco #1881 mould, .458 / 405 grain round Tip, hollow base bullet. Any ideas what I should try the BC at? Or maybe know the BC is for this cast bullet?

thanks,

You might look in the  older Lyman cast bullet handbook and find a similar bullet.  Other than that, why worry about it?  Just shoot it and see what it does at different ranges.

Back in the late 80s early 90s, I did a lot of testing to get coefficients for various bullets for long range shooting. It isn't critical.  When it was all said and done, I used the same number for all the .45 bullets guys were coming up with.  Sight setting were always right on out to 1000 yards from Ohler'sw Ballastic Explorer.

I get all mine out of Lyman's Cast Bullet handbook, look for something similar. Like Schuetzenmaster said big heavy bullets not going real fast little difference one to the other.

This from observed strikes at distance.
