I saw this same rifle a couple of weeks ago. It looked like a solid action and I believe 1885 parts will work on this rifle. The dealer stated the case colors were actually done chemically not actually case colored. The trigger wasn't bad either. The bishop/fajen stock left a bit to be desired. Could make a decent varmint rifle off of it.
Thought long and hard about it

Use the search here and you will find several posts concerning Bo and his rifles. He is dead now and never admitted he owed me .25 cents for one of my targets he shot by mistake. Oh well.

Clerkes are as strong a single shot as you'll find. I have two of them and my first one that I got in 1985 has been given a real work out.
Tom, my first interaction with Bo was him accusing me of X-firing on his target at Brea. But, the rest of the bunch made me feel welcome

You guys must really be spoiled out there; if I found a half-way decent Clerke Hiwall for $375 around here it would be mine in a heartbeat!
The CC on them did tend to look a little weird/chintzy/too bright, but I could learn to live with that.
I don't think original HW parts will interchange, but I could certainly be wrong.

375 won't often buy any decent action, helluva deal.
