Thanks for the clarification. So, The excellent group shot was with a different calibre, cartridge, sight set, etc than what the written information on the target indicates? Lips Sealed

Only the caliber is written incorrectly on Terry's first 250 target information. Bruce asked Terry for all the info while writing it down but mistakenly called it a 38-55, when it is without a doubt a 33-47. I know it's a 33-47 because my reamer cut his chamber.

They both are a testimate of what can be accomplished using Traditional Rifles. Jerry's is the high check rest Pope, three finger lever, single prong butt plate and he uses a 20X Lyman Supertarget Spot. Terry's is the Model 52 with three finger lever, single prong butt plate and until such time he can pick up a traditional scope he is using a 36XBSA scope.

Here is a picture of Jerry holding his rifle and one of his past 25WCF 250,s.

CPA doesn't take a back seat to anything found on the line and neither do the traditional style rifles Harry.

Terry, I have a question for you.  What were you using for a front and rear rest if you don't mind my asking?

Thanks,

Chris.

Gunlaker,

Front Rest is a Caldwell Rock BR Mounted to some Iron to make it sit higher. I made and mounted a platform to the top from 1/2" Oak.The Platform is what my barrel sled rides on.
The rear rest is a Protektor Bag with tall ears. It Also sits on a platform I made to make it taller .

Congratulations to both Jerry and Terry.  Post some pictures of your rifles and rests.
